the firm’s board effective immediately.

September 2015 and will leave the firm later this year.
Wren joined Icap in 2009 as group treasurer and has held a
number of senior finance, operational and commercial roles, including chief
financial officer and chief operating officer of the Global Broking division.
In March 2016, Wren was appointed chief commercial officer for Nex most
recently supporting Nex Markets.
Prior to joining Nex, Wren spent 14 years at Rank Group in a
variety of finance roles.
In a separate move, Ken Pigaga, global chief operating officer,
has also joined the board of Nex as a director, with immediate effect. “This
appointment reflects the recognition of the importance of Mr Pigaga’s role
leading the Nex transformation programme and the increased focus by the group
on technology and cyber security,” the firm states.
Pigaga was appointed global COO of Icap in November 2013,
having joined the firm in 2006 and served as COO for Icap Americas. He led
various programmes focused on efficiency and control including the restructuring
of the Global Broking business in 2014, the creation of Icap’s SEF and most

In addition, Pigaga played a role in the transaction with TP
Icap and led the early phase of the current transformation programme. Prior to
joining Icap, Pigaga was a managing director at JP Morgan focused on e-commerce
activities. From 1991 to 2001 he worked at Goldman Sachs in several roles in
emerging markets trading, portfolio structuring and e-commerce.
