Financial infrastructure services provider, TMX Atrium, has connected to Raptor Trading, a multi-asset electronic trading and risk management firm, in Toronto. Raptor has connected to TMX to take advantage of low latency access to Canadian exchange market data. The connection will allow clients in the US or Canada to access Raptor technology from a number of trading locations and will also have access to a platform for European growth.
Investment and financial software-enabled services provider, SS&C Technologies Holdings, has also joined TMX Atrium’s community from its physical location in Toronto. Connectivity will allow SS&C to automatically gain access to community members and benefit from capabilities of the venues and participants already ‘on-net’ with TMX.
Developer and provider of proprietary ultra-low latency technology, Enyx, and network services firm, Custom Connect Microwave, have developed a technology service which enables the a low latency microwave link to be shared equally amongst multiple users. The tool divides the microwave pure layer one bandwidth into 10 mbps segments with the lowest possible latency.
