Exegy to Offer CME Normalised Data

Exegy announces the availability of low-latency, normalised market data from the CME through its new Data Port point of presence in the Aurora, Illinois co-location data centre.

Data Port offers à la carte connections to pairs of Exegy hardware-accelerated appliances that process direct market data feeds in the major co-location data centres for global financial markets.

In addition to the new point-of-presence in the CME co-location data centre, Data Port is available in Secaucus, New Jersey, for US equities and options feeds, and London and Frankfurt for European equities and commodities feeds.

Exegy, TNS Team Up to Offer an FX Trading Platform

Exegy and Transaction Network Services (TNS) have announced a partnership in offering a global FX trading platform.

The firms will combine TNS’ market connectivity and hosting solutions and Exegy’s Trade Port FX, which delivers normalised FX market data and execution services to major FX venues, to offer a fully managed and integrated FX trading platform.

“Exegy is excited to be working with TNS to create a global, state-of-the-art FX trading platform,” says Exegy sales director in Europe and Asia, Carlos Lansdowne. “TNS’ global presence, renowned reputation for superior customer service, coupled with Exegy’s FX market data and order execution solutions will deliver better performance, lower total cost, and a disruptive new model in the FX industry.”

Exegy Launches Trade Port FX Service

Exegy, a provider of managed services and low-latency technology for market data normalisation and distribution, has launched Trade Port FX, a fully managed FX market data and order execution solution.

Trade Port FX is designed to deliver network connectivity, normalised market data, and order entry to major FX venues as a fully managed service.  It enables sell-side banks, buy-side fund managers, and multi-national corporations to meet all their FX market access requirements via a single vendor.

The firm says that this is an increasingly attractive solution as the FX markets experience rapid and simultaneous growth in market fragmentation, speed and functionality requirements, and the costs and complexity of building, maintaining, and managing trading infrastructure.

Exegy Hands Wilson Senior Sales Role

Exegy has added Scott Wilson to its team of senior account managers.
Wilson will have global responsibilities for sales of Exegy products and services for electronic currency markets, reporting directly to chief operating officer Rod Arbaugh.
Prior to joining Exegy, Wilson held positions as a senior trader, portfolio manager, managing director, and global head of FX sales at a number of financial services firms, including GFTA, JP Morgan, UBS, Bank of America, and Nomura.
He also worked as the co-founder and president of Financial Market Solutions, a provider of FX trading platforms and matching engines.
