Crown Agents Bank (CAB), an emerging markets FX and payments specialist, has appointed Colin Digby to head up its banks and non-bank financial institutions portfolio in OECD countries.Based in London, Digby joins CAB after four years in consulting and advisory roles across payments, FX, fintech and banking businesses. Prior to that, he spent his career working at a number of major banks in FX and payments focused roles, including RBS Markets, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and Citigroup.“Colin brings so much expertise to this role. His input will be invaluable as we consolidate our existing portfolio and look for innovative ways to further develop the business,” says Albert Maasland, CEO of Crown Agents Bank. “We are a relationship business, based on trust, and having individuals with proven expertise at the helm is something that is important to our clients, and therefore important to us.”
360T has been selected by M&G Investments to provide streamlined workflow technology for order handling and execution, and, separately, has agreed a partnership with Crown Agents Bank (CAB), a global wholesale bank that specialises in emerging markets.
In a release issued today, 360T says that the key to the selection of its Execution Management System (EMS) workflow solution by M&G was its stated commitment to develop the service to meet the cost, regulatory and best execution requirements of M&G while “engaging in an ongoing virtuous cycle of functional and capability innovation”.
Crown Agents Bank has appointed David Bee in the newly created role as head of global markets. He will also join the bank’s executive committee.
Bee joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he served as head of offshore financial markets and institutional FX sales. He has previously held senior positions at country and global levels at Citi, Deutsche Bank, and Standard Chartered.
Bee will be tasked with leading Crown’s markets team as the firm looks to expand its network of central bank, official institution, commercial bank, and NGO and non-bank financial institution clients across OECD markets and across Africa, the Caribbean, and selected other developing nations.
London-based boutique provider Crown Agents Bank, which is regulated in the UK, has launched a new online foreign exchange trading platform – EMpowerFX – allowing clients to gain access to “competitive prices” on both emerging market and major traded currencies. ?
