Standard Chartered Loses Four?

At least four members of Standard Chartered Bank’s voice and
trading team have apparently left the bank in the last two weeks according to
market sources.

The sources say that Shiyuan (Bob) Qi, the bank’s CNH trader
in Hong Kong, Bill Greene, from the bank’s e-trading team in London, Edison Li,
an NDF trader in London and Singapore-based Patrick Yeo, another NDF trader,
have all left.

Qi joined StanChart in 2012 from Barclays in Hong Kong,
while Greene only joined the bank in September last year from Goldman Sachs
Tokyo, having joined that bank in mid-2013 after a five year spell at Royal
Bank of Scotland in the US and Singapore.

Li has been at Stanchart for just over two years, having
joined the bank from Morgan Stanley, while Yeo also joined in 2014 from Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ.

The sources suggest that
other traders may have also have left the bank but are unable to provide
details, however they note that Standard Chartered’s bonus payments were made
at the end of March.
