Sibley Exits Barclays

Holden Sibley, managing director and head of Americas eFX distribution within the Macro division at Barclays, has left the firm.

Sibley had been with Barclays for the past 17 years, serving in a variety of electronic FICC and FX distribution and sales roles. Based in New York, he was most recently responsible for distribution, marketing, product development and client service for Barclays’ BARX FX electronic trading offering in the Americas region. Prior to assuming this position, Sibley served as head of European e-commerce for Barclays Capital, based in London, and as chief operating officer of Barclays Capital e-commerce.

He joined Barclays in February 2003 after completing an MBA program at INSEAD. Prior to this, Sibley was a senior consultant in the financial services practice of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Atlanta.

Barclays’ press department declines to comment.
