Ewa Nieminen is set to leave SEB at the end of the month, after 25 years at the bank.
Nieminen began her career in financial services at Nordbanken, which later became part of Nordea, in 1985. At the time of her departure from the bank in 1994 Nieminen was a currency options trader.
She then joined SEB in the same role before subsequently moving across a number of FX trading, sales and e-FX positions within the bank, working in Singapore, New York and Stockholm at various points during this period of time.
Now based in Stockholm, Nieminen has been responsible for SEB’s global e-FX distribution and development in her latest role with the bank.
Nieminen’s next career step is not known at this point in time, but in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday she expressed an intention to leave the financial services industry.
