The Royal Bank of Scotland has made a swathe of hires across its foreign exchange and capital markets sales teams.
Stuart Scott and Zara Allsworth have joined RBS’s London FX business. Both report to David White, London-based global head of spot FX. Scott joins the bank as a yen trader from HSBC where he spent six years trading spot FX in Hong Kong and London, prior to which he worked with North Carolina National Bank for five years. Allsworth will cover interbank sales. She has spent the past two years with Commerzbank Securities, London, on the non-reciprocal and central bank sales desk. Prior to this, she spent five years in Nomura’s London-based FX business.
Iskander Van Blarcum has also joined the bank to spearhead the effort to market institutional accounts in London, a spokesperson confirms. He reports to Bradley Leek, London-based global head of institutional FX sales, and joins from F&C Management where he was a trader.
