Peter Gorra rejoins the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) New York operation as a senior vice president of spot FX, North America, the bank confirms. He reports to Chris Lynch, head of trading for corporate banking and financial markets, North America, also based in New York.
Gorra left RBS to join Bank of America as a senior spot trader last year. Before leaving RBS, he was a vice president and chief dealer.
Meanwhile, RBS has hired Adam Linton as a senior proprietary FX trader in London. He joins from CitiGroup, where he spent the past seven years as a prop trader. Prior to Citi, he spent five years with Lehman Brothers. He reports to David White, global head of spot FX at RBS.
