Royal Bank of Scotland Financial Markets has strengthened its global investor coverage for FX and FX derivatives with three hires in London and New York. Bradley Leek joins as global head of institutional FX sales based in London; Brian Perry, senior institutional FX sales person, will be joining from Citibank/SSB, also based in London; and in New York, Jay Hardison joins as senior institutional FX sales coverage.
“These hires underscore RBS’s deep and ongoing commitment to offer unparalleled service to our global clients,” says Peter Nielsen, global head of sales for RBS FM.
Leek will be responsible for product delivery across all FX products, including options, and will also oversee the electronic initiatives focused on this client sector, including RBS’s participation in FXall and other electronic portals. He joins from Royal Bank of Canada where he was head of FX sales for the UK, Europe and Asia.
Perry will be responsible for a variety of high profile institutional investors from the bank’s global dealing centre in London.
“Brian will make a significant, immediate addition to our institutional coverage group in London and we look forward to his arrival. This is another example of how important we view our service to this important client sector,” Nielsen adds.
Hardison joins from AIG Trading, and previously worked at Bankers Trust in New York. He will concentrate on a variety of leveraged as well as unleveraged money managers and help develop the bank’s global effort.
