Eurobase Appoints Bryson

Eurobase has announced the appointment of Paul Bryson as group operations director – he will be charged with leading product development, support and professional services for both insurance and banking.

Bryson has over 30 years’ in the global insurance software and services business, having worked in several software organisations, including DxC where he held a variety of executive management roles including COO for the European financial services sector and managing director of global reinsurance and life assurance software product businesses.

 

CMC Markets Hires Newell

CMC Markets has named Ross Newell as business development manager, institutional business, to its London office. 

In his new role with CMC Markets, Newell will be working closely with institutional clients across Europe, ensuring that they receive tailored liquidity solutions and are also fully aware of CMC Markets’ online trading technology. 

Newell joins from AETOS Direct where he was head of the product aimed at retail and institutional traders, prior to that he worked at Fixi, AxiCorp and GFT Global Markets.

 

LCH Appoints Poilvet-Clediere

LCH has announced that Corentine Poilvet-Clediere has been appointed head of RepoClear and Collateral Management at LCH SA, effective immediately. 

Based in Paris, she is responsible for LCH euro-denominated debt and repo clearing service, RepoClear, as well as the clearing house’s collateral management function. 

The appointment comes at a time when LCH has recently expanded its euro debt markets offering. This is in line with long-standing member demand to consolidate their European government bond repo clearing activity into one CCP in order to leverage the benefits of T2S. The service is also targeting going live with Sponsored Clearing for the buy side in 2019. 

Prior to this role, Poilvet-Clediere was global head of regulatory strategy at London Stock Exchange Group, where she played a central role engaging on a wide range of strategic policy issues, particularly in post trade. Prior to this, she was part of the team involved in the launch of CDSClear as governance manager at LCH.
