NabCapital, the institutional banking and capital markets division of National Australia Bank, has appointed three new members to its foreign exchange team in London which focuses on European domiciled business.
Craig Davies and Ben Clarkin join the FX institutional sales team and Nick McHale joins the FX spot trading team.
Davies joins NabCapital as associate director, FX institutional sales, from ABN Amro Bank, London, where he was also an associate director, institutional FX sales.
Clarkin has moved to join the London team as director, FX institutional sales, from NabCapital in Sydney where he spent two years as a senior manager, FX institutional sales. Prior to this he spent eight years with State Street Bank and Trust Company, latterly as assistant vice president, foreign exchange sales in Sydney. Both report to Mike Flanagan, head of FX institutional sales – Europe.
McHale joins as a senior dealer, FX, reporting to Alan Bigley, head of FX spot trading London. He was previously a senior manager and currency trader at SEB Merchant Bank. Prior to joining SEB in 2001, he spent six years at Westpac Banking Corp., London, as senior manager, currency trading and bank sales.
