NAB Loses Duo

Peter Rextrew and Tim Fox have left National Australia Bank (NAB) in London, according to market sources. Rextrew was senior dealer, treasury, with responsibility for the Australian and New Zealand dollar trading book, while Fox was senior economist within the institutional division.

NAB declines to comment on the reports, but it is believed that the two men’s responsibilities have been assigned to other executives within the institutional banking division. Rextrew reported to Mike Stone, general manager of institutional markets and services, while Fox reported to Tom Vosa.

The departures signal continued change at NAB, coming as they do, just a short while after Jeff Mitchell, general manager of the bank’s Markets Division took a one year leave of absence just three months after taking up the post.
