Jill Gore will be joining the National Australia Bank’s institutional sales team in London this month. She will have primary responsibility for the UK sector and will help build the bank’s presence in this market. Working with Gore, are Tony Beard and Mary Lawler.
Gore will report to Shane Galligan, NAB’s recently appointed FX manager. Galligan says the bank is looking to add a fourth person to complement the institutional sales team. “As a whole, our sales team will be marketing to UK funds, global corporates and central banks,” he says.
Galligan adds that the bank is also looking for senior resources for the corporate desk to complete the sales initiative, which represents a drive for NAB to get closer to the UK market – in terms of both corporate and institutional clients, he says.
Gore was most recently a director of treasury sales with Robert Fleming, where she spent the past five years.
