Murciano Moves to ABN Amro from AIG

Eric Murciano has joined ABN Amro’s global institutional FX sales team. He will be responsible for FX and FX options sales to clients at French financial institutions and will report to Mark Sweeting, head of UK institutional FX sales. He joins from a similar role at AIG in Paris.

“ABN Amro is committed to servicing its fast expanding institutional client base with cutting edge FX products delivered by market leading dedicated sales talent,” says Robert Rodman, global head of FX product sales. “Eric’s appointment will complement our enhanced capabilities, as we seek to corner the rapid growth of institutional FX business in continental Europe.”

The appointment continues a string of recent hires at ABN Amro, which has included Matt Anneberg, Jeffrey Huisinga and Peter Snasdell in the global institutional FX sales group (see Profit & Loss, April 2002), and Gaurang Chadha, Terence Yiu and Raj Tewari in the global FX options team (see Profit & Loss, May 2002).
