Logicscope, a post-trade technology vendor, has appointed Roland Schilling as business development executive, reporting to John Barber, the newly appointed chief executive.
Schilling previously spent 15 years as a foreign exchange spot trader for a number of banks in the UK and Europe, including Bank of New York, Credit Suisse, American Express and LTT Bank in Liechtenstein. He also has experience in specialist software and data sales after working at Bloomberg and Netsys.
He will focus on expanding the footprint of Logicscope’s TradeSTP platform which links all major e-trading venues, including banks, brokers and multi-bank platforms with their end user clients globally for the real-time delivery of post-trade transaction messages.
"Roland’s previous experience as a trader and in software sales – and the fact he speaks four languages – will be invaluable to the company as we crystallise our ambitious plans for growth in 2008 and beyond," says Barber.
