Ayesa Latif, co-head of e-FX sales for EMEA
at Goldman Sachs in London, has left the bank.
& Loss understands that Latif is joining Citi
in London in May as institutional
e-sales head – EMEA. Her new role will see her cover banks, leveraged and real
money client segments across the region, she will report to Ala’a Saeed, global
head of investor e-sales at Citi.
Latif joined Goldman
in 2008 as an analyst in its prime brokerage business. In August 2011 she
shifted to an e-FX sales role and assumed the head of EMEA e-FX sales job in
January 2014 when incumbent Tom Robinson left the bank.
In June 2015 Latif was
named as co-head of the EMEA sales team when Goldman
hired David Wilkins from Deutsche Bank.
