Profit & Loss understands that Claudia Jury has taken on the role of global head of platform sales at JP Morgan.
Her new sales position will run across the securities services, prime finance and clearing and investor client management business segments. Jury will continue to be based in New York.
This is a shift from her previous roles at the bank, which were always on the trading side of the business.
Until taking on this sales role, Jury was the global co-head of currencies and emerging markets at JP morgan. Before that, she was the global head of FX spot trading at the bank.
Notwithstanding mergers, Jury has been with the company since she joined ahead of the MHT/Chemical Bank merger in 1991.
Pranav Thakur, former co-head with Jury, will now be the sole head of currencies and emerging markets at JP Morgan, according to sources familiar with the matter.
