Iorio Leaves Barclays

James Iorio, a
managing director and head of FX distribution for the Americas at Barclays, is
set to leave the bank.

Barclays did not
respond to requests to confirm the move by press time, but Profit & Loss understands that Iorio’s departure was announced
last week.

Iorio has been with
Barclays since 2008. He initially led the bank’s FX derivatives sales in New
York before being relocated to Singapore, where he was head of FX distribution
for Asia. In 2011 he moved
back to New York
, taking up the role of head of FX distribution for the
Americas.

Prior to joining
Barclays, Iorio spent 15 years as a managing director at Lehman Brothers and
three years as a senior consultant at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants.

Iorio’s next
destination could not be determined by press time.
