InTouch FX Hires Elmer, Dack, for Asian Expansion

Real-time market intelligence firm InTouch Capital Markets has hired two FX market veterans, Todd Elmer and Keith Dack, for its InTouch FX service in Asia.

The two new hires will work alongside the firm’s existing teams covering the European and US sessions and allow it to provide analysis on a 24-hour basis. InTouch Capital Markets was formed in 2004 and is operated by a team of former bank traders, strategists and portfolio managers.

Elmer has been named Asia head of FX & macro analysis, joining from a long and successful career at CitiFX, where he held senior roles in New York, Singapore and London and was most recently the bank’s head of FX strategy, EMEA.

“Knowledge remains an important commodity in all financial markets, but access to analysis of real-time events has become difficult,” Elmer says. “InTouch FX provides a service that many already value, from major trading houses, hedge funds and corporate treasurers through to regional banks and individual traders. InTouch FX’s expansion into Asia is an exciting development and one that I’m very pleased to be leading.”

Dack, who joins InTouch FX with decades of trading experience in both hedge funds and banks, will work with Elmer to build out the Asian service. “Keith is a well-known face in the FX market and brings a trader’s focus to our service,” says Elmer. “Very few people have his level of experience and number of contacts. He will be a valuable member of our team.”
