IFX Appoints Chief Executive

IFX Group appoints Edmond Warner as chief executive, replacing interim chief executive Neil Chisman, who resumes his duties as non-executive director on the IFX board having stepped up following the departure of Graham Wellesley in April.

Warner joins from Old Mutual, where he was where he was chief executive of Old Mutual Securities from 1999 and then chief executive of Old Mutual Financial Services UK from 2001. He has also been head of pan-European equities and a managing director at BT Alex Brown (formerly NatWest Markets), and head of global research at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Separately, Lorenzo Naldini has resigned as an executive director of the company, although he will continue as a non-executive director.
