Haydon Joins Bank of China

Bank of China has hired Steven Haydon as Asian currency trader in its Treasury and Capital Markets division. Based in London, Haydon reports to Wang Yan, head of Treasury and Capital Markets.

He joins the bank from C-View, a currency investment manager, where he was a portfolio manager. Prior to joining C-View in 2003, Haydon was a managing director at Bank of America and an associate director with National Westminster Bank, both in London and Tokyo. He concluded his terms at each bank running their emerging markets FX desks.

“Steven has tremendous experience of the markets and his skill within Asian currencies will allow us to further build our product offering for our client base and support the development of Bank of China London in the European market,” says Yan.
