FXMarketSpace, the Reuters and CME joint venture to create the first centrally-cleared FX platform, has made five senior level appointments as it gears up for its launch early next year.
Susan Malkin has joined as vice president of operations from rival EBS where she was most recently an operations manager, leading technical support for a number of products including EBS Prime and EBS Spot. Based in New York, she reports to Yigal Oren, senior vice president and head of operations.
Alyson Wilson joins as vice president and head of customer solutions management, EMEA. Reporting to Dan Rosenberg, senior vice president and head of customer solutions management, she is based in London. She also joins from EBS where she managed the relationships for key accounts including Barclays Capital, JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.
Cheri Giglia joins in London as senior vice president and head of finance, reporting to Mark Robson, CEO. She comes from Trading Partners where she was finance director with overall responsibility for the group’s global finance.
In addition, as reported in Squawkbox last month, Reny Morsch-Zlatkovic has been appointed vice president of sales and Jake Smith joins as vice president and head of marketing. Both report to Rick Sears, president and chief sales officer and are based in London.
Morsch-Zlatkovic has more than 12 years experience in FX sales and trading in European and US markets. Most recently, she worked for Deutsche Brse in London where she was involved in product development for derivatives exchange Eurex including the launch of FX futures.
Smith joins from HSBC where he was global manager, marketing in e-commerce. In this role he oversaw the development and implementation of HSBC’s global e-FX and marketing strategy. He was also responsible for marketing HSBC’s capabilities across multi-bank platforms, white label services and liquidity e-provision. Prior to joining HSBC, he was marketing manager for Citibank foreign exchange.
“Our ability to attract top talent demonstrates the market’s anticipation that FXMarketSpace will be one of the significant electronic trading platforms in FX,” says Robson.
