FXMarketSpace, the centrally-cleared FX platform owned by Reuters and CME, is strengthening its sales and customer solutions teams prior to its launch with a series of hires on both sides of the Atlantic.
In sales, Tom Koslowske and Noel Singh have been appointed vice presidents based in New York and London respectively.
Koslowske reports to Philip Harris, senior vice president and head of sales, Americas and joins from ABN Amro where he was a sales trader, responsible for increasing new business from North American financial institutions. Before that he worked for the hedge fund strategies group at Goldman Sachs Princeton.
Singh, who reports to Rick Sears, president and chief sales officer, has over 14 years of experience in the FX market and joins from Dresdner Kleinwort where he was responsible for the creation and development of the German bank’s FX prime brokerage platform. Prior to joining Dresdner, he was a sales executive for EBS with responsibility for the Nordic region.
In the customer solutions group, Iain Bonner-Fomes has been appointed a vice president reporting to Dan Rosenberg, senior vice president and head of customer solutions. Based in London, he joins from Charles River Development where he was a hedge fund consultant to the buy-side community. Before that he worked in the FX industry with Tullett and Tokyo and MW Marshall as a forward and off balance sheet arbitrage broker.
In addition, Tamara Miles, Ash Zenhom and Avtar Sian have been hired as account managers in the group. Miles joins in Chicago from ABN Amro where she was responsible for managing client services within the FX prime brokerage division. Prior to this she was a treasury officer, also with ABN Amro.
Zenhom joins from LavaFX where he was responsible for trade and application support. Before that he was a business development executive at Refco. Based in New York, Zenhom reports to Rosenberg along with Miles.
Sian meanwhile moves across from joint-owner CME where he was responsible for customer implementation and account management in Europe. Prior to this he was a project manager for IBM, specialising in the banking sector. Based in London, he reports to Aly Wilson, vice president and head of customer solutions, EMEA.
Elsewhere in the company, Jacklyn Fennessey has joined as a marketing specialist from Wireless Generation and Wilmer Correa has joined as project manager, operations from EBS where he was a senior systems engineer responsible for engineering and product integration.
Fennessey is based in New York and reports to Jake Smith, vice president and head of marketing while Correa, who is based in Chicago, reports to Yigal Oren, senior vice president and head of operations.
