Lisa Fraser has been appointed as the new COO of Lumint, a firm which manages passive commodity hedging and passive currency overlay programs for institutional investors and provides a technology service platform for the management of hedging mandates.
Based in Boston, Fraser had been working as Lumint’s director of implementation since July 2018 prior to being handed this new position. She will replace Peter Carey in the COO role, who will now transition to focus on operational alpha research as the firm’s head of research and analytics.
“Today, I’m happy to announce Lisa Fraser as the new COO of Lumint. Lisa’s experience, expertise, and skills are a perfect fit for the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of our dual software and outsourced overlay management business lines,” says Alex Dunegan, CEO of Lumint, in an online posting announcing the news.
Before joining Lumint, Fraser spent over three years at Brown Brothers Harriman and over 13 years at State Street, holding the position of vice president at each bank.
