Henry Durrant is joining FXSpotStream in London in a sales position and starts in the role next Tuesday (October 1).
He joins from 360TGTX where he worked in e-FX liquidity management having joined the firm as part of Deutsche Borse’s purchase of Gain GTX. Prior to that Durrant held e-FX roles at MUFG and Thomson Reuters in London. He will report to Anthony Brocksom, head of sales and new business at FXSpotStream.
Durrant is the latest addition to the FXSpotStream ranks with both Abigail Roesser and Bill Moller joining this year in sales roles, reporting to Brocksom.
The firm has also added Rob Campanelli, who joined from Tradition, and Matt Gwiazdowski to its support team under Mark Sinim head of support services.
“These hires reflect the growth we have seen in the FXSpotStream business, August saw our average daily volume rise 53% year-on-year to a new record and we also set a new high mark on August 1 of $59 billion,” says Alan Schwarz, co-founder and CEO of FXSpotStream. “We are seeing a market structure shift towards the disclosed trading relationship model rather than anonymous, so we are confident this growth will continue.”
