Credit Suisse Confirms New US FX Head

Credit Suisse confirms that Alain Delelis is joining the bank as US head of foreign exchange trading, based in New York, he will report jointly to Gale De Boissard, global head of FX at the bank and Steve Yanez, local head of FX.

 

Delelis was previously US head of global foreign exchange at Bank of America (see Squawkbox, March 12) and had been transferred to the New York office at the end of last year. Before the re-location, he was based in London as BofA’s overall head of EMEA foreign exchange and head of global spot and emerging markets trading.

 

Delelis’ duties were assumed by BofA’s New York-based global head of foreign exchange Christiane Mandell while the bank seeks a replacement. Prior to BofA, Delelis was managing director of FX trading at HSBC in New York having spent time at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup.
