Cognotec has opened two new offices in Vienna and Frankfurt in order to meet continuing demand for its AutoDeal Lite and AutoDeal Direct services, say officials. The announcements follow openings in Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich, San Francisco and Singapore earlier this year.
The Vienna office opened on 1 June, and is led by Michael Selinger, currently Cognotec’s business development manager for Austria/Hungary. In Frankfurt, the new office is headed by Anoop Sonpar, previously business development manager in London, who has been named regional manager for Germany.
Meanwhile, the company also recently opened a new Network Operations Centre (NOC). The NOC forms a central command centre, which manages all aspects of the AutoDeal Lite service.
As users access the service via their Web browser, all maintenance is carried out centrally by Cognotec in line with the Application Service Provider model. Telecommunications, system monitoring, data centre and applications support is now conducted from Cognotec’s headquarters at Ely Place, Dublin. The NOC also houses the 24-hour product and technical support call centre.
