Mark Clarke has become a trading partner with fund management company C-View, following his departure from Crédit Agricole Indosuez (CAI). His role will be to enhance C-View’s trading performance and to differentiate it by capturing non-correlated intra-day and short term market movements.
Clarke began his trading career in 1986 at Bank of America, specialising in spot Usd/Jpy, and has since worked with a number of trading houses including UBS Warburg and First Chicago. He spent the last six years with CAI, where he was responsible for global FX trading and the development of its e-commerce platform. He also sat on the board of FXall. “Over the last 12 months, currencies are becoming increasingly viewed as a separate asset class and Mark’s arrival will allow us to both increase our capacity and further differentiate ourselves from other managers by expanding our trading perspectives,” says Paul Chappell, managing director of C-View. “Both Lau Van Eesteren and I have worked extremely well together with Mark in the past, and we are confident that Mark’s profile and approach to risk management will enhance the performance returns we offer to our investors.”
