Citi has hired Ben Travers and Nicolaus Von Habsburg from Morgan Stanley, and Marc Schoucair from DZ Bank to its interest rate sales business in Europe.
Travers joins as a senior executive focusing on sales of interest rate products to UK investors, and Von Habsburg will be a senior executive for sales in Germany. Schoucair, DZ Bank’s former head of sales for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, will sell interest rate products to central banks.
All three will be based in London and will report to Cedric Pauwels, head of interest rate sales, which includes government bonds and derivatives.
The appointments follow the departure of European head of sales, interest rate products to hedge funds, Philippe Katz, to Credit Suisse.
