Calyon has appointed Arnold Kan as deputy head of fixed income markets for Asia ex-Japan. Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Frédéric Lainé, head of fixed income markets for Asia ex-Japan.
Kan will also be responsible for overseeing fixed income markets sales activities, adding both new geographies and customer segments in the region, the bank says.
He has been involved in fixed income markets business development in Asia for over
20 years and joins Calyon after 11 years at JPMorgan Chase Bank, where he held various key sales roles and was most recently managing director and head of sales for foreign exchange and rates markets. Prior to that, he worked at National Westminster Bank and Citibank in Hong Kong and Beijing.
