Simon Eedle last month transferred to New York as managing director and treasurer for Credit Agricole Indosuez, taking over the bank’s fixed income business in the US. His responsibilities encompass four main areas of the business: credit; interest rates and foreign exchange; complex products; and emerging markets. Each business line has a sales force covering corporates and institutions.
Eedle says “The focus this year will be merging with Credit Lyonnais. Going forward, we will automatically be a bigger platform as a result of the merger and a bigger business in the US.”
In London, where he formerly held the position of treasurer for the bank, Eedle’s FX responsibilities have been split between Jon Simmonds, who now heads global FX, and Derek Samman, who heads global FX options.
