Boulos Latest Big Name to Join BNY Mellon

Profit & Loss
understands that Darren Boulos has joined Bank of New York Mellon as head of FX
sales and trading for Asia Pacific.

Boulos was last at Deutsche Bank in Sydney where he closed
out a nine-year career in the role of head of FIC for Asia. Boulos joined
Deutsche as head of short term interest rate trading in 2006, before moving to
run FX in Sydney from 2010 to 2012.

Prior to Deutsche he had spells at RBC and Credit Suisse in
Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo.

At BNY Mellon, Boulos is believed to be reporting to Adam
Vos, global head of FX at the bank.

The hire is the latest in a string of senior appointments at
the bank as it seeks to build out its FX business under the directorship of BNY
Mellon’s head of Markets, Michelle Neal, who joined the bank from Deutsche in
late 2015.

Vos also worked at Deutsche prior to BNY Mellon, as did
recently appointed COO of FX Jason Vitale. The bank’s most
recent hire was of James Taylor
, who left JP Morgan to become head of sales
for BNY’s client execution service.
