BofA Appoints Reinhardt for Rates

Bank of America has appointed Jens Reinhardt to the London-based rates marketing team as principal and head of financial institutions coverage for Germany and Austria. Reinhardt reports to Ferruccio Ferrara, head of rates sales for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

 

Reinhardt was previously with JP Morgan’s financial institutions derivatives marketing team where he covered structured and vanilla rates, hybrids, long-dated FX, fund linked derivatives and strategic asset liability management for Germany and Austria.

 

BofA has lost a number of its rates and currency staff in the past month; most recently it lost Dwfor Evans, senior emerging markets currency strategist at the bank. In March, following bonus payouts, its lost Alain Delelis, head of global foreign exchange, Americas; Alastair Hollingdale, head of rates, EMEA; Magda Rakita, interbank FX sales; and options trader John Anone.
