Sources familiar with the matter say that BGC Partners has promoted three
executives in London and New York.

Anthony
Warner will be promoted from senior managing director and general manager, UK
and Middle East to executive managing director, and see his responsibilities
expanded to include BGC’s European commodities business.

Warner
joined BGC in Asia in 2015 from Icap and moved to London in 2016.

Meanwhile
in the US Shawn McLoughlin will be promoted from director of new business
development, North America to executive managing director and co-CEO of BGC
Financial.

Based in
New York, McLoughlin will work alongside Louis Scotto, general manager of BGC’s North American business to
define business strategy for new products and to drive revenue growth. McLoughlin
joined BGC in 2012 from Ticonderoga Securities, having previously worked at
brokerage firm Collins Stewart.

Also in New
York senior managing director of BGC Partners, Robert Miller’s mandate will be
expanded to include responsibility for the firm’s credit business in the US. Millar
joined BGC Partners in 2009 from Tullet Prebon and since then has worked across
the New York business.
