Barclays Capital has made five new appointments in its corporate risk management and derivatives group.
Rodrigo Collada and Omar Moreira have joined the bank as directors, responsible for the coverage of corporate clients for risk management and derivatives products in Mexico and Brazil.
New York-based Collada joins the bank from Merrill Lynch’s Mexico City operation, where he was a director of debt sales, originating FX and fixed income derivative transactions for corporate, bank and investor clients.
Moreira joins the firm for Deutsche Bank in Sao Paolo where he was a managing director, corporate and institutional sales, responsible for sales and structuring of FX, fixed income and credit derivatives.
Greg Power, director and head of US liability management, formerly of JP Morgan, and associate directors George Manahilov and Leelee Panno, formerly of Goldman Sachs and Swiss Re respectively, also join in risk management, although there are no FX elements to their roles.
All roles report to Ed Somekh, managing director and head of corporate risk management and derivatives.
