Adrian Lee & Partners (AL&P) has hired Michael Ridewood as a senior portfolio manager.
Ridewood has over 14 years’ experience in portfolio management with a focus on currency and global markets. Most recently he was the founder and managing partner at Atreaus Capital, a global macro hedge fund launched in 2012 which grew close to $2 billion in assets in 2016 under his leadership.
Prior to that, he held portfolio management and trading positions at investment banks and hedge funds, including Barclays Capital, Millennium Management, and JP Morgan.
“In today’s uncertain economic climate, we’re seeing increasing demand from investors who want to balance their currency risk while generating returns through active currency management. The appointment of Michael to the portfolio management team will help ensure our business’ continued success. His impressive experience in portfolio management will help enhance our offerings and growth potential moving forward,” says Adrian Lee, president and CIO of AL&P.
Ridewood comments: “Adrian Lee and Partners has a proven track record of delivering sophisticated currency strategies to institutional clients, with an impressive performance history. The role presents a new challenge and chapter for me, and I’m very much looking forward to working with Adrian and the team to further the firm’s growth.”
AL&P currently manages over $14 billion of assets for global institutional investors.
