Scott Mirsky has left his position as director, e-FX sales at Edgewater Markets, according to market sources.
Mirsky joined Edgewater Markets in 2015, prior to which he spent over four years at BNP Paribas, also in New York.
Before joining the French bank, Mirsky spent four years working as a business support analyst at Integral.
A spokesperson for Edgewater Markets did not respond to requests to confirm the news and Mirsky’s next destination is not known at this point in time.
Paul Alves has left his role as senior managing director at State and global head of the FX Connect and FX Connect Trade Services product suite.
A spokesperson for State Street confirmed the departure.
Alves had been with State Street for more than 10 years, previously serving as the global head of sales for FX Connect.
Prior to State Street, Alves held senior sales and relationship management roles at MoneyLine-Telerate and Thomson Reuters, and he began his career at The Boston Company Asset Management.

Quant CTA Taaffeite Capital Management has announced the appointment of Ronald Raymond as COO.
Raymond will oversee Taaffeite’s operating units and capital markets execution, the firm trades in a fully systematic and automated fashion using proprietary machine learning systems.
Prior to joining Taaffeite Capital Management, Raymond served as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer of Blueshift Capital, a commodity based long/short fund. Previously, he was director of operations at Vermillion Asset Management and vice president of perations at Dreman Value Management.
Alex Mackinnon has left AxiTrader in Sydney where he was general manager, ending a four year spell at the firm.
Sources tell Profit & Loss that he is moving to run CFH Clearing’s Asian business, however this could not be confirmed by press time.
Mackinnon joined AxiTrader from INTL FC Stone in 2013, at the latter he was head of FX prime services in London, having joined the firm from ODL Securities in London, a firm he worked at for over six years.
