Thursfield Joins UBS

David Thursfield has joined UBS in London as a director in spot FX, the bank confirms. He reports to Darren Coote, chief dealer in London, and Christoph Kreuter, London-based head of spot trading. He is focusing on emerging markets, specifically Eastern Europe. He joined the bank at the end of last year from BNP Paribas.

Courtney Join Barclays?

Jim Courtney has reportedly left SG CID to join Barclays Capital, although neither bank could confirm the move. He was most recently a cable trader. Calls to his desk at SG were not returned by press time.

Faegerman Rejoins AIG?

Anders Faegerman, formerly a strategist at AIG, has reportedly rejoined the group on the asset management side, sources say. The move could not be confirmed, as calls to AIG’s London office were not returned by press time.
