Dexia Extends Implementation of SunGard BancWare

Dexia Bank has extended its implementation of SunGard’s BancWare system to 15 sites across Europe and New York to provide interest rate risk management for its entire balance sheet. BancWare will also provide an integrated platform for reshaping Dexia’s asset and liability management models after this year’s merger with the Artesia-Bacob Bank Group.

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) posted its third busiest month ever and the busiest April on record, with 43,712,754 contracts traded. Year-to-date volume was 164.2 million contracts, the underlying value of the contracts traded in April was $31.4 trillion.
