Allegations over the past 18 months of benchmark rate manipulation have surfaced related to foreign exchange markets, spilling over from recent LIBOR settlements. As a result, the Foreign Exchange (FX) industry has been embroiled in controversy, investigated by central banks around the world, and more than 40 traders suspended from major banks that control the majority of FX market volume.
