Editorial Staff

Julie Ros

Julie Ros has been a journalist covering the currency, IT and broader financial markets since 1989. She founded P&L Services and Profit & Loss magazine in July 1999. Six months after the launch of Profit & Loss, Ms Ros started the industry's premier series of FX conferences, now known as Profit & Loss Forex Network. In 2008, she expanded the conference series through the addition of FX Growth Markets conferences.

Prior to P&L, Ms Ros worked from 1993-99, at Waters Information Services (now Incisive Media) as the London Bureau Chief, as well as editor of the newsletter, FX Week; and editor of ACI Briefing, now published by Profit & Loss since 1999. Prior to Waters, Ms Ros was a currency markets reporter for the former Dow Jones Telerate.

Colin Lambert

Colin Lambert joined P&L Services in August 2001 after a 21-year career in the financial markets, predominantly in foreign exchange trading. He joined P&L from MCM Inc, an analytical company focused on the financial markets. Whilst there, Mr Lambert managed the flagship CurrencyWatch I product. In his dealing career, he worked in New York, Singapore, Toronto, Tokyo and London for both buy-side and sell-side institutions, in several roles, including chief dealer.

Kirsten Hyde

Kirsten Hyde has been a journalist covering the market data, trading technology and currency markets since 1999. At P&L Services, she is editor of the weekly Squawkbox e-news service and deputy editor of Profit & Loss magazine. Prior to joining P&L Services in January 2006, Ms Hyde worked for ITV Television’s technology department as an internal communications writer and before that was a writer within SunGard’s corporate marketing team. From July 1999 to October 2003, Ms Hyde worked at Waters Information Services and Risk Publications (now Incisive Media) as a reporter and European correspondent for the weekly newsletter Inside Market Data.
